Matei Banu is an Assistant Professor, neurosurgeon and researcher at Stanford University. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Columbia University, New York Presbyterian hospital following medical training in Romania. He the pursued specialised skull base and neuro-oncology training with dedicated fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer centre in Houston, Texas and Stanford University. He is activity involved in research on techniques for resection and treatment of skull base pathology. Here he discusses his approach to chordomas and chondrosarcomas.
