The Queensland Neurosurgery Seminar Series was established in 2025 by a group of current neurosurgical trainees based across Queensland.

Recognizing the need for a regular forum for accessible knowledge sharing and professional development within our state, we initiated this educational program.

The series runs as a monthly webinar, held online on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 AM AEST. Each session is hosted by one of Queensland's Neurosurgery Units on a rotating basis, with the hosting unit inviting specialist speakers, typically consultants, to present on their areas of expertise.

Our aim is to deliver high-yield, didactic content relevant to neurosurgical practice. While the seminars are primarily targeted towards neurosurgery trainees, participation from consultants, unaccredited registrars, residents, nursing staff, and allied health professionals is highly encouraged to foster a collaborative and comprehensive learning environment for the entire Queensland neurosurgical community.
